If you’re using Office 365 for email, you can easily add your account to your Windows computer. This guide walks you through adding your Office 365 mailbox to Windows Mail, Outlook, Gmail, and other common email applications.
1. Add Office 365 Email to Windows Mail (Built-In App)

Open the Mail app on your Windows device.

Select Accounts from the left menu.

Click Add account.

Choose Office 365 from the list.

Enter your full email address (e.g., yourname@yourdomain.com).

Enter your password and click Sign In.

Accept any permissions or prompts.

2. Add Office 365 Email to Microsoft Outlook
If you use Outlook (part of Microsoft Office), setup is quick:

Confirm ownership via the email verification code.

4. Add Office 365 Email to Other Email Apps (IMAP/SMTP)
For other desktop clients (Thunderbird, eM Client, etc.), use the following manual settings:
Incoming (IMAP):

Username: your full email address

Outgoing (SMTP):

Troubleshooting Tips

If login fails, make sure your Office 365 account is active and your password is correct.

Some organisations require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). In this case, you may need to generate an App Password in your Microsoft 365 account.

If using Gmail import, note that it may take some time to fetch all your emails initially.
